I believe the universal elements of love, mercy, healing, pain, and joy hold great potential to transform lives. What led me into the counseling profession is a passion combined with the enduring knowledge that hope and change are available to every person. I hold a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. Currently, I am under the supervision of Andy Smith, and actively pursuing licensure in the state of Tennessee.
We all have different roles we play in life and our relationships, yet within all interactions we adapt to others in our own individual way. Often our work can focus on how to find a balance and move towards healthy choices. Another significant piece of counseling can be understanding how we connect with others and the quality of intimacy in our relationships.
Respecting each person and honoring the essence of what it means to be human is the foundation of my counseling relationships. Each person is unique in their abilities and areas of desired change. I strive to reflect the individuality of every client by embodying flexibility and care. It is an honor and a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they forge new paths in their mental health. My specialties include: EMDR, BrainSpotting and Trauma Counseling.
